The Operations Analytics team supports daily decision-making across flight scheduling, on-time performance (OTP), crew utilization, and turnaround efficiency.This role sits within the Network Planning & Operations Analytics group, not corporate IT. The selected candidate will work directly with operations managers, dispatch teams, and finance analysts to support real-time reporting and post-flight analysis.The immediate need is driven by:Increased route additions in Q3–Q4 2026Backlog in operational performance reportingManual reconciliation of delay and turnaround datasetsAdditional NotesCandidate must be comfortable working onsite with operations teamsNo sponsorship at this stage, but long-term extensions possible based on performanceStrong preference for candidates who can handle data ambiguity in operational environmentsResponsibilitiesPull and validate daily flight operations data from internal systems (Navitaire / scheduling feeds / CSV extracts)Perform data reconciliation between planned vs actual departure/arrival metrics and flag inconsistenciesBuild and maintain recurring reports on:On-Time Performance (OTP)Delay codes and root cause trendsAircraft turnaround time at gate levelSupport ad-hoc analysis for route performance and load factor trendsWork closely with operations control center (OCC) to validate data anomalies before reportingWrite basic to intermediate SQL queries to extract and transform datasets from internal reporting databasesAssist in dashboard updates (Power BI preferred) for weekly executive review decksMaintain documentation for data sources, transformations, and reporting logicParticipate in weekly ops review calls and provide data-backed insights when requiredQualifications Required 0–3 years of experience in Data Analysis / Reporting / Operations AnalyticsStrong working knowledge of SQL (joins, aggregations, filtering large datasets)Hands-on experience with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data validation)Clear understanding of data reconciliation and data consistency checksAbility to work with semi-structured datasets (CSV, logs, exports)Strong communication—candidate will interact with non-technical ops teamsExposure to aviation, logistics, or transportation datasetsExperience with Power BI or TableauFamiliarity with scheduling or time-series operational dataPython (basic scripting for data cleaning is a plus, not mandatory)
