Position Overview As a Hospitalist Physician (MD/DO), you will: Provide comprehensive inpatient care including admissions, daily rounding, and discharges Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care Respond to medical emergencies including codes and rapid response situations Provide ventilator management Order, interpret, and manage labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies Collaborate closely with specialists, emergency physicians, respiratory therapists, CRNAs, nursing staff, and ancillary teams Coordinate smooth transitions of care and discharge planning Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, quality initiatives, and hospital committees Maintain timely and accurate EMR documentation No procedures required. Specialty backup available (including surgeons for central lines, respiratory therapy, EM physicians, and CRNAs).
