They are well organized project managers, excellent communicators, proactive problem solvers and technical subject matter experts well versed in email marketing. They are the connective tissue between the business (product marketing managers), production project managers and development team. They ensure projects are well defined, and delivered on time and meet quality standards.The base salary range for this full-time position is $103,000 - $131,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Some benefits information is included in this job description, and your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range and benefits for this position during the hiring process.Position ResponsibilitiesPartner with product marketing managers (PMMs) in campaign ideation and intake document formulationCollaborate with PMMs during the campaign ideation stage, gather technical requirements, confirm feasibility of ideated campaign features, define potential execution timeline and the intricacies of email personalization and complex logicProvide strategic input on growth best practices, segmentation, and user journey optimization to help achieve campaign business goalsAct as a consultative partner, advising PMMs on how to translate business objectives into effective owned channel (i.e. email) strategiesGuide the PMM through the Campaign Requirement Document creation, ensure the intake documents are completed and comprehensive for the production teamProject manage campaign development and deploymentKick off and strategically manage campaign development with offshore production team, provide guidance and answers to production team during the production process, manage production timelinesPrepare work orders for the production team and create project estimations for the PMM, managing the approval process for these estimatesCoordinate with Data Specialists to ensure that data requirements and inputs are fully aligned with HTML development and production process, as well as be a strategic partner between Data Specialists and offshore production teamConduct thorough quality assurance (QA) reviews on all deliverables against client specifications before releasing to the PMMCommunicate production progress to PMM, facilitate approval of simulations, proofs and prototypes, ensure any changes are implemented after prototype and proof reviewFlag issues that arise during the production process and proactively seek solutionsManage campaign deployment in Internal Growth tools, monitor campaign healthActively manage the Internal growth tool (i.e..Gamma) campaign deployments and proactively manage the campaign lifecycle (pause, activate, launch Gamma campaigns). GAMMA is Google’s internal email marketing platformBe the expert on Gamma campaigns under their managementMonitor campaign deployment health through Gamma reporting tools and internal tools. Where applicable, delegate monitoring to Data Specialists and email specialists acting as the accountable party for campaign health monitoring and error escalationConduct post-launch campaign performance analysis to derive engagement insights and identify areas for future improvementTroubleshoot and solve escalationsWhen issues arise on existing or newly deployed campaigns, proactively lead the resolution process by quickly identifying root causes, work closely with product marketing managers, production project managers, and the development teamDocument the issue in the form of a blameless post mortem, ensure alignment across stakeholders and facilitate process adjustments mitigating repetition of the issue in the future across the teamDrive innovation and thrive for excellenceProactively look for ways to improve the process to drive efficiency and reduce risk such as through implementing AI tools in the email creative or production processesKeep things organizedAttend regular scrums and stand ups, provide updates on project status and act as a collaborative business partner to the PMM leading the scrumEffectively and proficiently communicate with the offshore production team by setting up and leading weekly calls.
