In this role, you will assist our customers and maintain our fleet of trucks and equipment, including Skid Steers, Bulldozers and Excavators. Your expertise will play a vital role in diagnosing and repairing performance and functional issues, ensuring the smooth operation of our vehicles and machinery. As a Mechanic, you will bring an in-depth understanding of vehicle systems and components. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining repair shop equipment and ensuring a clean and organized working environment. This position requires excellent communication skills to explain vehicle issues clearly to customers and provide valuable advice. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair vehicles brought into the shop. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as tire rotations, grease jobs, oil changes, and brake pad replacements. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections across all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes. Create repair estimates and timelines, communicating them to customers in a clear and understandable manner. Maintain accurate records and paperwork for the repair shop. Ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business through exceptional service. Qualifications Class A or B CDL preferred Strong customer service and communication skills preferred Welding Certifications or Experience preferred Associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is preferred High school diploma or GED is required Valid Drivers License is required
