Field Investigator

Rob Levine Law is seeking experienced, licensed professionals to join our network as Contract Field Investigators on a per-assignment basis. This opportunity is designed for working private investigators, constables, or professionals with comparable experience who are looking to supplement their existing practice with flexible, on-demand field documentation assignments.These are independent contractor positions — not full-time employment. Ideal candidates are already active in the field and looking to take on additional assignments that fit their schedule.Assignment TypesContractors will assist clients with on-site documentation, which may include:Photographing client injuries and/or scarsDocumenting accident scenesCapturing evidence of physical defects at sidewalks, retail stores, rental properties, and similar locationsOther on-site visual documentation as assignedAvailable TerritoriesWe are currently filling one geographic territory:Territory 1 — New Haven / Bridgeport, CT: Covers Southwestern ConnecticutCompensation & ScheduleCompensation: Per-assignment contract rates (specific rates to be discussed upon engagement)Assignment Duration: Typically 1–3 hours per assignmentExpected Volume: Approximately 3–5 assignments per week to start, with the potential for increased volume as our client base growsWork Structure: Fully independent contractor — you set your availability and accept assignments that fit your scheduleQualificationsIdeal candidates will have one or more of the following:Active private investigator license (required or strongly preferred depending on jurisdiction)Experience as a constable or law enforcement professionalBackground in insurance investigations, legal field work, or similar documentation rolesReliable transportation and the ability to travel within the assigned territoryProficiency with digital photography and basic documentation toolsStrong attention to detail and professional communication skills
