Assistant Operations ManagerThe Assistant Operations Manager (AOM) is responsible for overseeing daily, weekly, and strategic operations within the SFN Fulfillment Center. This role ensures all service level agreements (SLAs), productivity targets, and quality standards are consistently met across departments including Inbound, Pick/Pack, Labeling, Batch, and VAS/B2B. The AOM plays a critical leadership role in staffing, workflow prioritization, performance management, and cross-functional coordination.Key Result AreaPrioritize all staffing and daily expectationsReview planned forecast to determine staffing needsReview batch and pick/pack volumeCreate cluster carts and batch orders while prioritizing expedited ordersStrategize for the day according to SLA needs and incoming shipmentsCoordinate daily meetings with ICQAs to review and strategize by SLAReview OPH, SLA status, and expedited orders throughout the dayPerform end of day review for multiple departments and ensure all exceptions have been resolved, mis-picked inventory has been restocked, confirm all carrier pick-ups, and verify that all orders have been completed for the dayProvide clear communication with ICQA team members throughout the dayCompile data, progress and questions for weekly business review meetingsUtilize ShipBob tools to pull daily reports to prepare for the day's orders, forecasting staffing, OPH performance, and coordinate receiving product.Any other duties as assigned by the leadership team.SkillsStrong operational leadership and decision-makingAbility to manage multiple workflows and priorities simultaneouslyData-driven performance managementCross-functional collaboration and communicationProblem-solving and root cause analysisAdaptability to evolving processes and business needsWorking ConditionsWarehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.Frequent walking, standing, and occasional lifting to 50 lbs.May require flexible hours, including evenings or weekends during peak periods.Education / ExperienceHigh school degree required3 years of warehouse experience required1-2 years of leadership experience strongly preferred
