Landman | Division Order Analyst
Our client is seeking a skilled Division Order Analyst to support ongoing ownership and revenue verification activities for a Dallas-based oil & gas organization. This is a remote opportunity working directly with the client team through Purple Land Management.The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and title interpretation skills, experience reviewing ownership interests, and a meticulous approach to validating division orders and related records. This role requires a high level of accuracy, organization, and accountability while managing sensitive ownership and title-related information.Candidates with prior experience in oil & gas, mineral ownership, title analysis, or division order administration are strongly preferred.ResponsibilitiesReview, analyze, and validate division orders for accuracy and completenessVerify ownership interests using title documents, leases, deeds, probate records, and related documentationCalculate and confirm ownership and revenue interestsIdentify and resolve discrepancies related to ownership, title, or revenue distributionMaintain organized records and supporting documentationCollaborate directly with client stakeholders and cross-functional teamsEnsure work product aligns with company standards and project expectationsSupport ongoing ownership and title-related projects as assignedMandatory RequirementsPrior experience as a Division Order Analyst, Title Analyst, Landman, or related oil & gas roleStrong understanding of oil & gas ownership, title research, and division order processesExperience interpreting title documents, legal descriptions, deeds, leases, and probate materialsProficiency calculating ownership and revenue interestsStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently in a remote work environmentExperience with division order systems, land systems, or related databases preferredCompany DescriptionPurple Land Management, LLC (“Purple”) is one of the nation’s largest tech-enabled provider of land services that negotiates the buying, selling, and leasing of mineral rights, determines and cures title, prepares mineral ownership reports, and performs other related services required for oil and gas operators to drill and produce wells.
