Electrical Project Manager
CSE Electric is an established Electrical contractor looking for the right individual to join our team!
The CSE Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, leading and controlling project execution for the purpose of meeting client and company goals and objectives. The project manager is accountable for the overall success of the job, gauged against the goals and expectations of the client, company and human resources employed. The project manager will have the authority to control all aspects of the job execution, access to the resources needed to execute, monitor and control the job. While the project manager is fully accountable for the job success they can and will need to assemble a team and delegate responsibility for different aspects of job execution to internal company individuals, as well as outside service and equipment providers.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: SUPERVISORY ROLE:
Responsible to coordinate with assigned Project Superintendents for project execution
Responsible to coordinate with assigned purchasing and project coordination team for project success
Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for project changes
Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
RECURRING TASKS:
Attend project hand off/buy out meeting with estimator/project superintendent/foreman/purchasing
Serve as main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders
In conjunction with Project Accountant, manage project cost, budgets, labor/material projections, and billing
Assist Project Coordinator with permitting, reporting, scheduling, and deliveries
Assist Estimators / Project Superintendents with project take offs once project assigned
Identify necessity, calculate, generate, submit and manage process of change orders
Review assigned project plans and specifications, identify specialty or non-standard work and/or specs
Contribute to the process of managing and evaluating Project Superintendent’s performance and attendance
Effectively applies company policy and procedures and enforces project standards
Communicate RFI’s with GC/estimator/purchasing
Review daily and weekly reports from foreman and project superintendents
Review and resolve any issues escalated from the field or from the contractor
Review installation of material on jobsites as per the approved recent blueprint, NEC, and local code
Oversee job progress with superintendents, identify / resolve needs, issues or request for information (RFI)
Review projected progress and completion schedules, identify potential issues and resolve or escalate
Attend project related meetings – pre-con/CPS/NBU/APL etc.
Provide regular project updates, including progress reports, schedules, and budget status, to insure effective communication
Assist HR in evaluating field employee’s competencies and performance
Ensure projects are completed and closed out to CSE standards and within budget
Ensure all project documentation is complete and organized
Take care and maintain working order, all company property – vehicle/phone/tablet/computer etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university/college in related field (preferably electrical engineering, project management or construction management)
Minimum 3 years’ experience managing commercial electrical projects
Competency and knowledge in full range of project management methodologies
Experienced with budget and schedule management
Demonstrates superior leadership, communication and organization capabilities

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
