Send your resume for immediate consideration!Job Summary:The Line Cook at Mountain Lake Lodge is responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven kitchen. This role supports the lodge's dining operations by ensuring consistent food quality, presentation, and adherence to recipes, while contributing to a positive guest experience in a scenic resort setting.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook menu items according to lodge recipes and standardsSet up and stock assigned kitchen stations (grill, sauté, prep, etc.)Ensure timely and accurate food preparation during breakfast, lunch, and dinner serviceMaintain cleanliness and organization of workstationsFollow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelinesAssist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioningMonitor food quality and report any issues to kitchen leadershipHelp with inventory control and proper storage of ingredientsWork collaboratively with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth serviceComply with all nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulationsOther duties as assignedRequirements & Skills:Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred (resort or restaurant experience a plus)Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and consistencyKnowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipmentUnderstanding of food safety standardsAbility to stand for long periods and lift up to 30–50 lbsStrong teamwork and communication skillsAvailability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidaysPreferred Qualifications:Culinary training or certification (a plus, not required)Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.Experience in hospitality, resort, or high-volume kitchensWork Environment:Professional kitchen within a resort settingFast-paced, team-oriented atmosphereExposure to heat, kitchen equipment, and busy service periodsWhy choose Mountain Lake?
