Position Title: UX Architect - Data ApplicationsLocation: RemotePosition Responsibilities:The UX Architect - Data Applications will be responsible for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences within the data and analytics ecosystem. They will collaborate with business stakeholders, UX/UI designers, and developers to build scalable and interactive solutions. The key responsibilities of this role include:Collaborating with stakeholders and designers to create intuitive user interfaces that meet business needsDeveloping user-friendly, responsive, and performance-optimized web applications and dashboardsTranslating complex business requirements into clean, functional, and visually appealing front-end designsBuilding reusable code and libraries for future use, ensuring scalability and flexibilityIntegrating front-end applications with back-end services, ensuring seamless data flow and interactionOptimizing front-end code for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring smooth data renderingImplementing write-back capabilities for real-time interaction with dataCollaborating with security and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance standards are metParticipating in testing and debugging to ensure a seamless user experienceImplementing observability tools to monitor and improve system performanceWorking with support teams for smooth post-deployment transitionsEssential Skills & Expertise:Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or AngularExperience with Python for developing interactive visualizations (preferably using frameworks like Streamlit)Proficiency in UX design principles and an eye for detail to create engaging and user-centric interfacesFamiliarity with integrating front-end applications with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake)Experience in responsive design and developing for cross-browser compatibilityUnderstanding of RESTful APIs and working knowledge of integrating front-end systems with back-end servicesOptional Skills:Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Git) and DBT (Data Build Tool) for automated builds and deploymentKnowledge of data visualization best practices for large datasets and business analyticsFamiliarity with accessibility standards and optimization for diverse user basesExperience with financial, operational, or stewardship industry business processes is a plusECCO Select is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
