Pump Applications

Responsibilities of the Pump Applications include, but are not limited to: Selecting and specifying pump equipment Preparing equipment proposals utilizing support tools Responding to customer inquiries regarding company pump related products and services Communicating with customer via phone and e-mail Checking availability of stock and verifying ship dates Processing orders in DXP operating business system Providing follow up to ensure customer satisfaction Knowledge of company policies and procedures Qualifications of the Pump Applications include, but are not limited to: Must have 3-5 years of experience working with pumps and/or other rotating equipment Extremely customer-service and teamwork-oriented Computer literate, organized, and detail-oriented Additional Information Physical Demand: N/A Working Conditions: Office environment Training/Certifications: N/A Shift Time/Overtime: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Travel: N/A Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Application Question(s): How many years of recent experience do you have as a Customer Service Rep and/or sales and/or quotes and/or buying position for Industrial MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) or bearings or power transmissions?
