This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver critical infrastructure solutions for today's and future power needs.The position requires strong expertise in electrical design and modeling, including duct bank design, cable tray systems, grounding, and lighting systems for advanced power generation facilities.Work Location Requirement:Candidates must work onsite at one of the following locations:Overland Park, KS; Ann Arbor, MI; Houston, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Raleigh, NC; Chattanooga, TN; Chicago, IL; Jacksonville, FL; or Gaithersburg, MD.Candidate location must be specified in the submission.Role SummaryThe Lead Engineering Technician functions in a senior technical and leadership capacity, supporting the development of high-quality 2D and 3D engineering deliverables.Under minimal supervision, this role:Applies advanced electrical engineering principles and design practicesDevelops and modifies design drawings using tools such as Bentley MicroStationEnsures adherence to project budgets, schedules, and quality standardsSupports innovation and continuous improvement across engineering processesMay supervise and guide engineering technicians and support staff Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish, communicate, and enforce design and graphic standardsReview project requirements to determine appropriate formats and deliverablesEnsure quality and consistency across all design outputsCoordinate deliverables across disciplines and teamsEnsure compliance with System One LLC quality assurance proceduresMonitor production for adherence to budget and scheduleMaintain drawing control systems and historical documentationProvide support for field activities as neededCommunicate project requirements, progress, and timelines effectivelyPromote collaboration and integration across engineering disciplinesSupport development and enhancement of design tools and applications Required QualificationsAssociate degree in Drafting or Engineering Design TechnologyMinimum of 15 years of related experienceStrong experience with:3D modeling of equipmentDuct bank designCable tray designGrounding systemsLighting systems Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering Design or related technologyExperience with AGI32 lighting design software (preferred, not required)Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation and related Bentley toolsSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
