Sr. Network Applications Engineer

Overview In this role you will work with high-performance AV streaming networks to enable customer objectives. You will contribute to pre- and post-sales design, implementation, and support, validating emerging network technologies. You’ll focus on multi-vendor networks and Extron’s AV streaming and control products that leverage network tech. You’ll act as an escalation point and collaborate across teams to test, troubleshoot, and document solutions. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that shapes delivery for enterprise AV networking. ResponsibilitiesReview system requirements for feasibility and completenessParticipate in formal design and implementation activities ensuring standards and performanceServe as escalation point for network and Extron product supportCollaborate across teams to test, troubleshoot, and document solutionsEngage with multiple network vendors to meet customer requirementsCreate technical documentation for tasks Key requirements5+ years in developing/integrating network and enterprise management systems in large enterprisesBS degree in EE, CE, CS, IT or ET (transcripts required) or equivalent experienceCertifications such as CCIE, CCNP, CCDPStrong foundation in network engineering, topologies, L2/L3, routing protocolsExperience with high-performance networks, QoS, and traffic shapingPacket capture and analysis of UDP, RTP, PTP, TLS, HTTPSKnowledge of NAC, 802.1X, SSL/TLS, certificate managementAbility to deploy solutions in existing infrastructure and advise cross-functional teamsStrong communication with executives and non-technical stakeholdersDetail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to travelstrong communicationconsulting and strategic advisingattention to detailenterprise networkingQoS and traffic shapingpacket capture and protocol analysis (UDP, RTP, TLS, HTTPs)
