Day-in-the-LifeYou start your shift on the production floor, moving between lines to verify product quality in real time. You take precise measurements—weights, dimensions, temperatures—and capture results without delay. Every reading goes into Minitab (and related systems) with care, so trends are clear and action is fast. If something is off, you alert the line operator and QA immediately, helping protect both product integrity and food safety.What You’ll DoConduct in-process and finished product inspections directly on the lineMeasure and document weights, dimensions, temperatures, and other critical attributes with precisionEnter quality data accurately into Minitab and other digital toolsReview findings with unwavering attention to detailFlag and report any defects or deviations to production and QA without delayAdhere to GMP, HACCP, and all plant food safety protocolsKeep work areas clean and organized in line with site standardsRemove and discard non-conforming product per procedureCommunicate quality issues clearly to production teamsWhat You’ll BringHands-on QC/inspection experience in manufacturing (food manufacturing strongly preferred)Proven skill in taking accurate measurements and recording data correctlySharp attention to detail and consistent inspection habitsBasic computer proficiency, including data entry and use of Minitab or similar toolsAbility to follow documented procedures and communicate clearlyComfort working in a fast-paced production environmentMinimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to read, write, and communicate in EnglishBasic math skillsWorking EnvironmentProduction floor setting with continuous standing and movementFast-paced food manufacturing environmentOvertime and flexible shift availability requiredMust-Have ExperienceThis position requires prior, hands-on quality inspection experience. Applicants without direct QC or inspection backgrounds will not be considered.
