Perform engineering nanalysis and design or re-design, and development of components into nexisting and new vehicles. nYOUR IMPACT: nnUnder close supervision, perform basic engineering calculations, n ninvestigations, and tasks as assigned according to Oshkosh as well nas general industry engineering standards and processes. nnSupport senior engineers in the preparation of basic plans, designs, n ncomputation methods, and/or reporting. nnUnder close supervision, work on projects of limited complexity in a n nsupport role. nnCollaborate as needed with other engineering or business support n ndisciplines internally as well as suppliers externally. nnMaintain effective communication with suppliers, internal and n nexternal customers, and outside resources concerning technical nissues. nnEnforce the proper use of engineering criteria and drawing n nstandards. Ensure that technical issues are conducted within the nframework of company policies and procedures. nnnEvaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability. n nnPerform and Directs preparation of layouts, drawings, n n nspecifications, and bills of material. nnPerform engineering analysis to support the selection of parts, n ncomponents, and materials that meet requirements. nnnProvide non-complex technical assistance for production support. n nnAnalyze and resolve issues reported to Engineering via verbal or n n nwritten communication. nnnPrepare technical proposals, quotations, reports, and presentations. n nnUtilize analytical and mathematical approaches to calculate or model n n nsystem performance and optimize designs. nnAnalyze and resolve issues reported to Engineering and communicate n nstatus via verbal or written communication. nnnOther duties as assigned. n nnRegular attendance is required. n n nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: nnAccredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field along n nwith Internship experience or six (6) or more months of related work nexperience. nnn nSTANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS: nnnAccredited Bachelor's degree in Mechanical
