Collaborate with production, manufacturing engineers, and engineering to document processes, clarify responsibilities, identify improvements, and maintain BASX quality standards.Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities Utilizes CAPA findings and quality metrics to initiate continuous improvement projects, assigns tasks to staff, and monitors progress and outcomes, adjusting and expanding projects as necessary. Provides final approval for quality team leaders who completed required training, reporting to HR and Production. Ensures team adherence to BASX quality standards, timely product completion, and adherence to design specifications. Supervises inspection and testing personnel to maintain standards and productivity. Coordinates team schedules for audits and inspections, serving as a technical resource for trainers and production staff. Conducts meetings with internal and external suppliers and customers to review quality findings, traveling as needed. QualificationsEducation and Experience Requirements: BS degree in a related field, with additional education considered advantageous for career growth activities. Minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience is required. Experience in Quality, ASQ Certification, ISO, Lean, Statistical Process Control, and Continuous Improvement methodologies preferred. Certification as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is desirable, or the willingness to pursue such certification. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Strong leadership and managerial abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of quality assurance principles and methodologies. Proficiency in Word and Excel required; experience with Publisher, Visio, and PowerBi preferred. Essential Physical Functions Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods. Walk up and down stairs. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Work Environment Requires periodic visits to manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure. Required to wear proper personal protective equipment.
