Floater / Assistant teacher

Teaching AssistantWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our educators in fostering a positive learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, particularly in early childhood and special education settings. This role involves assisting with lesson planning, classroom management, and providing individualized support to students, including those with autism and other special needs. Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities. Support students in their learning by providing one-on-one assistance and guidance. Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Collaborate with teachers to develop engaging instructional materials tailored to diverse learning needs. Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to the lead teacher. Participate in classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior among students. Engage with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and needs as appropriate. Support the implementation of Montessori methods or other educational frameworks as required. Compensation: $15.00 per hour At The Learning Experience, we make early education joyful, engaging and fun so children are happy to learn, play and grow. Our curriculum focuses on the six ages and stages of early childhood development and engages children in hands-on learning activities that encourage them to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development. This forms a foundation for kids to Learn, Play and Grow under the care of our nurturing teachers and staff. At TLE, we've created a full cast of characters that become our little learners' educators, partners and friends through their preschool education journey. Each character has a unique personality and area of interest and brings learning to life by allowing children to explore the world through fun and imagination.
