Fundraising & Investor Relations - Jefferies Credit Partners - Analyst
Jefferies Credit Partners (“JCP”) is a leading private credit manager and the asset management arm of Jefferies Finance LLC (“JFIN”). JFIN was founded in 2004 as a 50/50 joint venture between Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (“MassMutual”), a global, diversified life insurance and financial services organization, and Jefferies, a leader in global investment banking, to invest in middle market direct lending transactions.
Today, JCP manages over $9 billion of capital across commingled funds, separately managed accounts, and securitized products. JCP invests primarily across three private credit strategies: Large Cap direct lending, Middle Market direct lending, and CLO Management. JCP’s investors include JFIN’s balance sheet and third-party investors, with ambitious growth goals to continue expanding third-party capital.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Analyst that is looking for a new role in private credit investor relations. This role will focus on supporting the broader fundraising and IR team with prospect and investor requests and deliverables for our private credit platform. Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist with update and completion of RFP and DDQs, investor and prospect diligence, inquiries, consultant databases, etc.
Maintain client facing and marketing materials to ensure accuracy and coordinate review through Compliance team
Update quarterly and annual client reporting deliverables, including customized client reports and quarterly letters
Coordinate with other functions across the business to gather and summarize investment and product data, including investment teams, legal and compliance, and finance
Develop an understanding of our various private credit products, including investment strategies, product structures, and terms
Help update and maintain a database of approved responses for use in client requests and formal diligence processes
Maintain investor pipeline for funds in market, collaborating with various sales team members
Maintenance of data room materials and investor access as well as CRM maintenance
Support ongoing and ad-hoc investor requests and internal projects
Qualifications:
1-2 years experience, preferably in investor relations and/or finance. Private credit experience not required but interest and desire to learn about private credit is necessary
Fluency with Microsoft Office applications (including Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic knowledge of credit and/or general investing principles and key financial/business metrics preferred
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
Flexibility to work towards demanding deadlines and high priority deliverables outside of standard business hours
Must have a great attitude and be team-oriented
Unquestionable integrity and ethics
Open to feedback and focused on achieving excellence
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $[100,000 - $135,000].
The salary offered will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and qualifications.
