Commercial Banking Paralegal

A Bit About UsOur office is seeking a paralegal with experience in lending to joint our team. This is a full-time, in-office position (not remote) offering significant career-building potential and development opportunities within a respected firm known for its excellence.You will be working closely with attorneys and clients on finance-related transactions, primarily lenders on commercial loans. You will also assist on finance and debt aspects of M&A and general real estate mattersResponsibilities & QualificationsReview and analyze closing due diligence items (organizational documents, title commitments, pro formas, etc)Maintaining closing checklists, coordinating closings, preparing signature pages, preparing and reviewing flow of funds memosCoordinate with internal document specialists and funding assistants to ensure seamless closingsTrack and manage deadlines and document workflows across multiple active filesOrdering organizational documents and certificates of good standing for appropriate jurisdictionsWe would love to hear from you if youDemonstrate effective verbal and written communication with clients, outside vendors, and other partiesAre experienced with commercial lending and bankingHave at least two (2) years (preferably 3) of law firm-related experience in real estate, banking or lendingBenefits include health, dental and 401(k).Equal opportunity employer.The salary provided is a range based upon the job description and will be dependant on the successful candidate's experienceJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurance
