Since 2016, OptimALL has partnered with 45 Catholic schools in the Greater Cincinnati area, supporting inclusive, faith-centered education for students with diverse learning needs.Basic FunctionThe Early Childhood Intervention Specialist provides specially designed instruction to students funded through the Jon Peterson and Autism Scholarships. The ECIS works collaboratively with teachers, families, and service providers to develop objective, measurable goals and determine appropriate accommodations and interventions for students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Special EducationMust hold an Early Childhood Intervention LicenseValid Ohio teaching certificate or licenseSuccessful completion of required criminal background checksStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to generate, record, and maintain student dataAbility to administer and interpret standardized assessmentsKnowledge of the Ohio Department of Education Model Curriculum and Ohio's Learning StandardsAbility to maintain strict confidentiality of student records and school businessResponsibilitiesDemonstrate knowledge of Early Childhood Special Education laws, policies, and regulationsProvide specially designed instruction to assigned studentsCollaborate with teachers and service providers to develop individualized, objective, and measurable IEP goalsDetermine and support appropriate classroom accommodations and interventionsComplete IEP progress reports for students on assigned caseloadAttend IEP, IAT, and other meetings as requiredEstablish and maintain positive relationships with students, families, staff, and service providersMaintain professional conduct and dressCarry out additional duties as assigned by the Executive DirectorApplication ProcessPlease send resumes to:[email protected]
