Accounts Receivable Supervisor
Job Description
Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop the Accounts Receivable team, including workload distribution, performance management, and ongoing trainingOversee all AR functions, including billing, invoicing, cash application, adjustments, and account reconciliationsEnsure timely and accurate posting of customer payments (ACH, wire transfers, checks, and credit cards)Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively minimize past‐due balancesReview and approve credit memos, write‐offs, and account adjustments within delegated authorityPartner with customers, Sales, and Operations teams to resolve billing disputes and discrepanciesPrepare, analyze, and present AR reports to the Finance team and leadershipSupport month‐end and year‐end close processes related to accounts receivableAssist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and detailed explanationsIdentify and implement opportunities to improve AR processes, systems, and workflowsCollaborate cross‐functionally with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve issues impacting billing or collectionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience preferred but not required)5+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience within an AR or accounting functionStrong working knowledge of accounts receivable processes and best practicesProven people leadership, coaching, and team development skillsHigh attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‐solving abilitiesExcellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skillsExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) preferredProficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft ExcelAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environmentCompany Description Our Professional Division works with clients as a stakeholder in their hiring strategy and process.
