Thank you! **Title: Security Engineer - Identity & Infrastructure FocusedLocation: hybrid in office Tuesdays & Wednesdays every other week (4 times per month total) in Smyrna/Vinings area 30339Duration: 6 month contract to hire (very likely to convert to FTE)Required Qualifications:5+ years of experience in IT Security Engineering, with a focus on identity and infrastructure securityStrong experience with:Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)Active Directory (on-prem)Hybrid identity architectures (AAD Connect, federation, SSO)Hands-on experience with Privileged Access Management solutions (CyberArk preferred)Experience implementing and managing:MFA and Conditional Access policiesRole-Based Access Control (RBAC)Solid understanding of:Authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, Kerberos, NTLM)Identity attack techniques and mitigations (Pass-the-Hash, Kerberoasting, etc.)Experience with SIEM platforms for monitoring and alertingStrong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and administrationExperience securing Windows server environments and enterprise infrastructureKey Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain secure identity and access management solutions across Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and on-prem Active DirectoryEngineer and support Privileged Access Management (CyberArk), including account onboarding, rotation, and session managementSecure hybrid identity environments, including AD, Entra ID, and federated authentication modelsImplement and enforce Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and Zero Trust principlesMonitor, analyze, and respond to identity-based threats using SIEM and security telemetryPerform security hardening, patching, and configuration management for Windows-based systems and identity infrastructureSupport incident response efforts related to authentication, privilege escalation, and lateral movementCollaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure secure integration with identity servicesDevelop and maintain PowerShell automation for security operations and platform management
