Lead and oversee personnel, buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure effective sustainment and preventative maintenanceHire, develop, coach, and retain maintenance personnel aligned with current and future business needsCoordinate, monitor and repair to ensure safe, efficient operation of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systemsInspect facilities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standardsPlan, manage, and execute facility-related construction and maintenance projectsPrepare and manage maintenance projects to minimize operational disruptionNegotiate contracts with service providers, subcontractors, and vendorsFoster relationships and motivate suppliers and contractors to deliver high-quality work at competitive costsLead initiatives that improve employee safety, environmental conditions, quality, delivery, and costDrive timely closure of corrective and preventative actionsCoordinate with internal teams and external vendors on technical and operational issuesAlign facility projects and activities with organizational goals and expectationsRequirementsBachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred, or a minimum of 3 years of related experienceExperience managing contractors, vendors, and supporting labor in a large facility or manufacturing environmentProven leadership experience managing a small team and working cross-functionallyGeneral construction knowledge, including electrical, structural, plumbing, and HVAC systemsKentucky General Contractor’s License and familiarity with industrial building codes preferred
