Construction Site SuperintendentLocation: Near Phoenix, AZ (On-site)Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 (Based on Experience)Schedule: Full-Time (project-based hours, flexibility required)Experience: 5+ years of commercial construction supervisory experience requiredOur growing client is seeking an experienced Construction Site Superintendent to oversee field operations on commercial projects. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing crews, coordinating jobsite activities, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to high-quality standards.The ideal candidate is a strong field leader with experience in specialized construction scopes, who can effectively manage people, equipment, and processes in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.Key Responsibilities for the role of Construction Site Superintendent include:• Oversee all day-to-day jobsite operations, including crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials• Lead and coordinate field teams to ensure work is completed efficiently and aligned with project scope and timelines• Monitor installation activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and manufacturer or regulatory guidelines• Enforce strict safety practices and maintain a culture of accountability on all jobsites• Coordinate project sequencing, scheduling, and workflow to meet deadlines and production goals• Track and report labor hours, production progress, material usage, and equipment utilization• Oversee the use, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of jobsite tools and equipment• Communicate effectively with project managers, general contractors, and clients to provide updates and resolve issues• Train, mentor, and support field staff to maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards• Identify and resolve jobsite challenges proactively to minimize delays and disruptions• Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, reports, and recordsJob RequirementsQualifications for the Construction Site Superintendent:• 5+ years of experience in a superintendent or field leadership role within commercial construction• Experience with specialized construction scopes such as coatings, flooring systems, or similar industrial applications strongly preferred• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, tools, and equipment• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents• Proven leadership skills with the ability to direct teams and drive performance in the field• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail• Comfortable using mobile technology, tablets, and jobsite reporting tools• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders• Valid driver's license required• Willingness to work variable schedules, including early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed based on project demands• Ability to work in active construction environments, including lifting, climbing, and working at heightsAbout Us:redShift Recruiting is the region's premier recruiting agency with over 100 years of combined experience in the recruiting field.
