Director of AdministrationLocation: Lake Orion, MI (Onsite)Compensation: $70,000 – $90,000 + BenefitsOverview:A growing cannabis operator is seeking a highly organized and operationally driven Director of Administration to support daily business operations across a fast-paced cultivation and processing facility. This individual will serve as a key point of coordination across departments, helping ensure communication, accountability, and operational alignment throughout the organization. This is a high-visibility role working closely with leadership to support administrative operations, cross-functional execution, facility coordination, financial organization, and HR administration. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in an environment where priorities shift quickly and collaboration across teams is essential.Key Responsibilities:Operational CoordinationAct as a central point of communication across departments including cultivation, processing, compliance, maintenance, sales, and fulfillmentIdentify operational gaps and help implement process improvementsSupport leadership with operational follow-through and day-to-day executionMaintain visibility into departmental performance and organizational prioritiesAdministrative ManagementOversee daily administrative operations and office coordinationMaintain organized documentation, records, SOPs, and internal reporting systemsCoordinate meetings, schedules, follow-ups, and internal communicationSupport leadership with organization, planning, and accountability initiativesFinancial & Vendor SupportAssist with vendor coordination, invoicing, expense tracking, and purchasingHelp organize operational financial documentation and reportingCoordinate with third-party accounting and payroll partners as neededManage ordering of facility consumables and source cost-effective solutionsHR & Employee SupportAssist with onboarding, employee records, and HR administrationSupport hiring coordination and internal employee communicationHelp maintain a professional, organized, and accountable workplace cultureCompliance & Facility CoordinationSupport licensing and regulatory documentation processesHelp ensure operational readiness across facility departmentsCoordinate vendor relationships, maintenance scheduling, and facility needsMaintain confidentiality when handling sensitive operational and employee informationQualifications5+ years of experience in operations, administration, office management, logistics, or facility coordinationExperience in manufacturing, automotive, logistics, cannabis, agriculture, or other fast-paced operational environments preferredStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyExperience supporting cross-functional teams and leadershipFamiliarity with payroll, HR systems, invoicing, or financial coordination preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office and operational software systemsIdeal Candidate TraitsSelf-starter with strong follow-throughHighly organized and detail-orientedCollaborative team player with strong communication skillsOperationally minded and solutions-focusedAble to maintain composure in fast-moving environmentsTrustworthy, discreet, and accountableBenefitsHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceOpportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding cannabis operatorHigh-impact role with direct exposure to leadership and operations
