Teacher's Aide - Arvada, Colorado

Job Description Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Support role available for paraprofessionals with experience in special education, located in Arvada, CO. This contract position spans from ASAP through 5/22/26, offering 35-37 hours per week at either an elementary or middle school setting.Key Responsibilities:Assist in supporting students within special education classrooms, with a focus on significant/severe caseloads preferred.Provide direct assistance including toileting and diapering as needed.Adapt to flexible assignments as candidates may be reassigned to different school locations and work with various age groups.Maintain punctuality, reporting by 7:40 AM for elementary or 8:00 AM for middle/high school sites.Undergo fingerprinting immediately following offer acceptance to comply with district policies.Qualifications and Experience:A minimum of one full year of experience working in special education classrooms is required.Experience working with significant/severe disability caseloads is highly preferred.Reliable personal transportation is mandatory; public transit or rideshares are not acceptable.Candidates must be located within a reasonable commuting distance to Arvada, CO.Important Application Notes:Submission without two completed, Professional RefAssured references in hand will not be considered.
