Job Title: Application Developer I (.NET Core and .NET Framework, Angular, Relational Database)Job Type: Contract W-2Job Location: New York, New York ( hybrid- 3 days onsite)3-7 years of experience working in a financial institutionA global bank is seeking an Application Developer I (.Net, Angular, Relational DB) to join their team to design, build and support enterprise web applications.Duties:You will primarily work with SharePoint and .NET (Framework & .NET Core in C#) and Angular. Experience with React, Bitbucket, Jenkins, XL Deploy, SonarQube, Checkmarx, CyberArk, Azure, InfoPath (legacy), Power Automate, REST APIs, Informatica, Alteryx Analytics Automation, SQL DBX is a strong plus.You will:Design, build and support enterprise web applications.Propose innovative solutions while complying with IT policies and standards.Promote modern technologies, best practices and coding standards.Collaborate with on‑shore and near‑shore teams, IT stakeholders and business users.Work in a cross‑functional agile environment and contribute to the innovation roadmap.Skills: .NET & web developmentStrong experience in .NET Core and .NET Framework with C#.ASP.NET, including MVC and REST services using Web API / ASP.NET Core.Development of automated unit tests and integration tests.Strong knowledge of modern client‑side frameworks, ideally Angular, Kendo UI and TypeScript.React experience is a plus.Data & integrationDatabase design and SQL development; very good understanding of relational databases.Entity Framework is a plus.Experience with RESTful APIs.Experience with Informatica, Alteryx Analytics Automation, SQL DBX for reporting and automation is a plus.DevOps & methodologiesGood command of DevOps practices, Agile methods and CI/CD.Experience with tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, XL Deploy, SonarQube, Checkmarx, CyberArk, Azure (Apps).3-7 years of experience working in a financial institution or similarEducation:Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline (Computer Engineering Technologies, Computer Programming, Computer Software)
