Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
At least 2 years of reinsurance or insurance-specific accounting
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proficiency in Excel and general ledger systems
Familiarity with GAAP; SAP exposure preferred
Experience with Schedule F reporting is a strong plus
Description
Prepare and post monthly reinsurance premiums, losses, and settlements
Reconcile reinsurance accounts and cash receipts with detailed accuracy
Collaborate with brokers, reinsurers, and internal departments (Claims, Underwriting, Actuarial)
Assist in audit support, internal controls, and year-end collateral processes
Interpret reinsurance contracts for appropriate accounting treatment
Enhance reinsurance accounting workflows for efficiency and compliance
