Support FEA projects using HyperMesh / ABAQUS as per requirements.
Interface with global teams and take care of regular project communications.
Obtain all required inputs for assessing components and sub-systems for stress, deformation, vibration, durability and thermal performance. Carry out thorough review of inputs for accuracy and adequacy.
*RESPONSIBILITIES FOR CAE ENGINEER:*
* Construct FEA models utilizing standard design principles.
* Conduct sub-systems level analysis to evaluate structural integrity and produce correlated model to dynamic test results.
* Responsible for systems fine tuning and design optimization using simulation results and their correlation with testing data.
* Perform a feasibility study for new concept designs using FEA simulation.
* Optimize the function and cost of forward model systems using CAE Tools
*Provide program design alternatives by running DOE CAE Studies.*
* Support development of standards and methods.
* Develop and present reports to management as required
*JOB EXPERIENCE FOR CAE ENGINEER: *
3-5 years of experience in FEA Analysis Automotive industry.
* Strong business acumen and excellent written and verbal abilities.
* Experience working in cross functional teams is beneficial.
* Master of Science Engineering degree
*. SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR CAE ENGINEER: *
* Strong Knowledge in the following FEA software (LS-Dyna, Hyperwork).
* Multi-disciplinary optimization through CAE.
* Understanding different CAE methods Explicit and Implicit.
* Experience in meshing software Simlab or Hyperworks.
