Experienced Drain Technician Dispatcher Our vital and growing firm has an opportunity for an experienced drain technician dispatcher. Using their experience and expertise, along with our in-house resources and processes, they will optimize the use of our drain technicians and satisfy the needs of our numerous customers. Company Overview Balkan Sewer and Water Main Service has a large team of drain technicians and is also NYC's largest house sewer and water service line contractor. Responsibilities: Perform in all aspects of dispatch and supervisor work, including but not limited to:Analyze the requests for service, dispatch, and supervise the team of drain techniciansManage all service job metrics; meeting the required response time, proper completion of each call, and confirming customer satisfaction.Coach and motivate technicians to work at their maximum productivity; coach, train and develop technicians to increase work and sales skillsResolve conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably.Using in-house software, document team productivity and results.Perform mid-year and annual performance evaluationsBe present for, and sometimes lead, management and team meetings. Skills and Qualifications:A documented and verifiable resume of experience in the above role.Able to lead by example, exhibiting understanding, knowledge, and professionalism.Able to think both strategically and execute against day-to-day objectivesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAble to organize, assemble, and arrange resources to meet goalsAble to maintain composure during stressful situations, remaining focused on the ultimate objectiveStrong interpersonal skills to support interaction and development of relationships with a wide range of internal and external customersCapacity to work independently as well as within a team-oriented and collaborative environmentMinimum five years of management experienceIndustry Experience is a plus.
