This role owns the professional development calendar, evaluates and launches new learning formats, and provides strategic oversight for key events while serving as a visible, relationship-driven resource for members across ACAR's footprint.We are looking for a highly service-oriented, organized, and execution-focused professional who can build strong relationships, listen to member needs, and translate insights into programming and engagement opportunities. There is an abundance of opportunities to grow and develop while working with a seasoned, empathetic, and high-performing team.Responsibilities include:Member Experience & Engagement:Lead ACAR's proactive member service strategy with a visible, relationship-driven presence.Build strong relationships across all membership segments and serve as a trusted resource.Personally assist members with challenges when appropriate and help them navigate resources, processes, and opportunities.Identify recurring needs and collaborate with internal teams to develop education, resources, or engagement solutions.Develop hyper-local engagement opportunities across ACAR's footprint to strengthen connection and loyalty.Professional Development Leadership:Own and execute ACAR's professional development portfolio, maintaining high standards while evolving delivery formats and pricing models.Develop and manage the annual professional development calendar, including required courses, networking programs, and promotion of Ohio REALTORS and NAR offerings.Work with the Ohio Division of Real Estate to secure course approvals and ensure compliance with deadlines.Identify education needs through structured member listening and awareness of industry trends.Curate, evaluate, and manage instructors to protect ACAR's quality standards.Monitor attendance trends, revenue performance, and pricing strategy to ensure program sustainability and growth.Balance live, webinar, and on-demand formats and introduce new offerings when appropriate.Update, maintain, and manage ACAR's scholarship foundation.Provide strategic oversight and execution leadership for ACAR's event portfolio.Lead planning and program development for signature events, including the Annual Business Meeting, Inaugural, and other major industry events.Align event themes with professional development and member engagement goals.Evaluate attendance, engagement, and sponsorship performance and identify opportunities for improvement.Partner with internal staff for seamless logistical execution and vendor coordination.Attend events and off-site meetings as needed (some evening events, limited weekends, local travel).Knowledge and skills required:Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport across all membership segments.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable on the phone and in front of groups.Strong planning, organization, and time and priority management; able to anticipate needs and plan ahead.Ability to multitask across a busy monthly program calendar while maintaining high standards and attention to detail.Proficiency with Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).Comfortable using CRM and database systems.Solutions-oriented with strong follow-through; comfortable facilitating committees and working toward group consensus.Experience:We are seeking a candidate with demonstrated experience in professional development, education programming, event management, or association/member services. The ideal candidate has successfully managed a busy calendar of programs and events, coordinated with committees and vendors, and delivered high-touch customer service in a professional environment. Experience working within a trade association, nonprofit, or member-based organization is strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, track program performance, and translate member feedback into meaningful engagement opportunities is essential.Education:Bachelor's degree required (communications, education, business administration, psychology or similar fields preferred). Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Salary and Benefits:The salary range is $65-75k yearly depending on experience.
