Job Title: Traveling SuperintendentLocation: Remote + Travel (can be located anywhere in the US)Salary: $100K-$125K + CommissionBenefits: Health Insurance + 401k + PTO + Per DiemRequirements: Federal, Healthcare, and Data Center or Telecom Infrastructure Construction ExperiencePosition OverviewWe are working on a new project involving multiple VA hospital sites across the country. This project includes high-complexity telecommunications infrastructure modernization to support Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM), including construction of Main Computer Rooms (MCRs) and renovations across multiple buildings. We are looking for a few Traveling Superintendents with federal, healthcare, and data center or telecom infrastructure construction experience.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day on-site supervision for construction activities, ensuring work meets design, code, and contract requirements.Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trade foremen, and site personnel to maintain productivity, quality, and schedule adherence.Implement and enforce safety programs and jobsite protocols, conduct safety briefings, and ensure compliance with OSHA and client-specific safety requirements.Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and RFIs; communicate changes and ensure accurate field execution.Monitor project schedules and milestones, identify potential delays, and work with senior project management to develop recovery plans.Manage materials, equipment, and site logistics to support efficient construction operations and minimize downtime.Mentor and supervise on-site staff, ensuring clear delegation of responsibilities and professional development.QualificationsConstruction site supervision experience, with a strong background in healthcare construction, federal construction, and data center or telecom infrastructure construction projects.Extensive experience with site supervision, including managing subcontractors, inspections, quality control, and safety compliance.Willingness and ability to travel and remain on-site for extended periods; valid drivers license is required.Thorough knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, building codes, and construction means and methods.Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and design professionals.Proficient in project documentation practices, daily reports, and basic construction management software.Nice to have: formal Project Management experience, demonstrating capability to support scheduling, budgeting, and project coordination at a higher level.BenefitsBase Salary ($100K-$125K)Commission (1.5% of Gross Profit on each job)Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance401(k)Per DiemPaid Vacation TimePaid Holidays
