IPC Class 3 Trainer / Auditor (IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001) – Vietnamese/English Bilingual
Job Overview
We are a high-reliability EMS / PCB assembly manufacturer supporting aerospace, defense, and other regulated industries. We are seeking an experienced IPC Certified Trainer (CIT) to train, coach, and audit our production team to IPC Class 3 standards, including Space Addendum exposure if available.
This role is hands-on and practical, focused on improving real workmanship on the floor — not just teaching slides.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned IPC professional who can clearly explain technical requirements in both English and Vietnamese, ensuring true understanding across operators, inspectors, and supervisors.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence quality assurance practices while working in a fast-paced, innovative environment committed to excellence.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, clear, and effective training sessions on IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards in both Vietnamese and English to diverse teams
Conduct detailed audits of electronic assemblies to verify compliance with IPC standards, identifying areas for improvement
Develop and maintain comprehensive training materials, audit checklists, and documentation to support ongoing quality initiatives
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address non-conformances and implement corrective actions
Stay current with updates to IPC standards and industry best practices, integrating new knowledge into training programs
Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on process enhancements based on audit findings
Support internal audits related to quality management systems, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
Align training with AS9100, ISO 9001, and ITAR environments
Note: Certification of employees is not required — this role focuses on effective training and real-world execution, not paperwork.
Requirements
Proven experience as an IPC Class 3 Trainer or Auditor with strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards
Bilingual proficiency in Vietnamese and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages
Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging training sessions tailored to diverse audiences
Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail during audits and inspections
Familiarity with electronic assembly processes, soldering techniques, and quality control procedures
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
Technical proficiency with auditing tools, training software, and documentation management systems
Proven ability to teach and correct workmanship, not just present standards
Preferred (Nice to have)
Experience with Space Addendum
Prior EMS / contract manufacturing background
Experience auditing workmanship in live production environments
Familiarity with AS9100 and ITAR controls
Why This Role is Different
Immediate impact — your work directly improves quality on the floor
Leadership team is committed to doing IPC right, not just “checking the box”
Ongoing engagement — not a one-and-done training
