You will anticipate guest needs, curate bespoke experiences, and connect guests to the very best that New York City has to offer.Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Engagement & Service ExcellenceWarmly greet and engage guests with polished professionalism and genuine hospitalityProvide thoughtful, anticipatory service at every opportunityCurated RecommendationsOffer expert guidance on premier local attractions, cultural institutions, fine dining, luxury retail, and exclusive eventsStay current on the city's most sought-after experiencesReservations & ArrangementsSecure dining reservations, event tickets, and curated experiences, including access to exclusive or hard-to-book venuesArrange transportation with attention to comfort, efficiency, and guest preferencesPersonalized Guest ServicesFulfill unique and high-level guest requests, including sourcing specialty items and coordinating bespoke servicesRun errands and coordinate deliveries with discretion and precisionGuest LogisticsReceive, store, and deliver guest luggage, mail, and personal belongings with the utmost care and attentionCollaborationSupport the Guest Services team during peak arrival and departure periods or as neededPartner with internal departments to ensure seamless service deliveryGuest SatisfactionMaintain awareness of guest feedback and satisfaction metricsEnsure every guest departs with a memorable and exceptional experienceSafety & StandardsFollow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with hotel standardsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrior customer service experience required; luxury hospitality experience strongly preferredStrong knowledge of New York City, including cultural landmarks, dining, retail, and eventsExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentWork EnvironmentFlexible schedule required, including weekends, holidays, and varied shiftsRole requires extended periods of standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbsWhy Join Us?The Fifth Avenue Hotel is more than a hotel—it is an experience.
