Please take a moment to browse through our website and learn more about what it means to serve with MKS2.Senior Systems Engineer - LTAMDS RadarLocation: Tewksbury, MA (50 Apple Hill Drive, Assabet - Building 1)Schedule: Full Time | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMPay: $125,000 - negotiable based on experienceHours: 40 hours/week - 12-month contractClearance: Must have active Secret Clearance (DoD)About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the development and full life-cycle of the Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS) radar. This role involves hands-on systems engineering across requirements development, integration, test, verification, and performance analysis in both simulated and real-world environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop system requirements, algorithms, concepts of operations, and define system interfacesDevelop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation for simulated and operational environmentsIdentify and resolve hardware, software, and system-level issues through detailed data analysis and debuggingDevelop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation activitiesIntegrate hardware and software into tactical systems and evaluate functionality and performance impactDevelop integration documentation, execute integration plans, analyze results, and verify system requirementsCommunicate technical findings, risks, and results clearly to leadership and key stakeholdersConduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performanceRequired QualificationsMinimum 5 years of prior engineering experienceBachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) Desired Skills & ExperienceExperience with systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems testExperience developing scripts and functions using MATLABExperience developing and managing technical requirementsProficiency with C++, Python, or similar programming languagesExperience generating technical documentation such as test plans, procedures, and technical reportsExperience working in an integration lab, test facility, or field environment supporting integration and/or verificationExperience evaluating systems using simulated environmentsExperience interfacing with internal and external customers
