Wood StackerPeoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Thomson within the Lumber industry. Wood Stacker Job Summary: $17.00 2nd shift: 5pm-5am Mon-Fri Ensure all environmental and safety procedures are followed. Collect sticks into a box from bundles getting de-sticked. Lay sticks down between layers of bundles going to the kiln. Wrap and bank finished bundles per packaging instructions. Check stamp is correct for material and legible and alert Stacker Operator of errors. Pull back the layers of wood as they come across the hoist to keep layers tight and in line. Attend all training sessions and safety meetings. Wood Stacker Qualifications: High School graduate or GED Ability to learn about treatments, lumber and plywood sizes, grades, and species. Ability to learn package sizes for all products. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Why Peoplelink?
