Receiving Coordinator

Brief DescriptionROLE SUMMARY/PURPOSE:Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, Receiving Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all incoming materials. This role supports operations by maintaining clean, organized inventory records, ensuring materials are received and stored correctly, and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure timely flow of materials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.Key ResponsibilitiesInventory & Warehouse Coordination:Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations with appropriate labeling and documentation. Identify and resolve receiving discrepancies in coordination with Purchasing, Production, and Accounting. Work closely with Operations and Project Managers to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules. Receiving Operations:Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips. Conduct inspections for damage, quantity discrepancies, and material quality at the time of delivery. Ensure timely and accurate posting of goods received into Titan ERP system. Tag and store incoming materials in correct warehouse locations to support traceability and production flow. Schedule and coordinate deliveries with drivers and vendors as needed. Collaboration & Process Improvement:Partner with the Procurement and Production teams to communicate delivery timing, shortages, or quality issues. Work with the Finance team to support invoice matching and resolution of discrepancies. Recommend and support process improvements related to inventory management and receiving practices. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within receiving and storage areas. Compliance & Documentation:Ensure compliance with Locke’s internal controls and safety standards in all inventory handling processes. Maintain accurate and organized records for all receiving transactions and inventory movements. Participate in the development and improvement of warehouse and inventory procedures. SUCCESSFUL RESULTS:Timely and complete receipt of all inbound materials with no lost or unrecorded items. Clear documentation and resolution of any receiving or inventory-related issues. Clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse and receiving areas. Cross-department collaboration that contributes to Locke’s operational flow and responsiveness. REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training preferred. 2–4 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse coordination, or receiving, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment. Working knowledge of ERP systems (Titan preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in indoor/outdoor warehouse environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – must exemplify Locke’s 5 core values.
