As a Legal Advisor for the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity (OEEO) for the CIA, you will provide legal advice regarding compliance with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Rehabilitation Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act, the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act, and all other applicable civil rights/EEO laws, and Executive Orders.You will provide legal advice to OEEO Counselor/Investigators on substantive and procedural issues arising in the counseling, investigation, settlement, and mediation of EEO complaints against the Agency. You will also draft and edit documents issued in the administrative EEO complaint process (including Reports of Investigation, Final Agency Decisions, and appellate briefs to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) and will correspond with the EEOC and outside legal representatives. Furthermore, you will assist in enduring the federal EEO complaint process complies, facilitate training for supervisors, employees, and OEEO staff, and advise on the implementation of civil rights/EEO laws in CIA-wide programs and regulations, and supervise the OEEO legal staff.For this position a Cover Letter addressing your legal expertise and knowledge in area of federal sector equal employment opportunity claims; your legal analysis and writing skills; and your interpersonal skills and impact is required.
