General DescriptionWe are looking to hire full time Customer Service Representatives to interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. This position receives and processes incoming orders via email, phone, fax, or other electronic means.ResponsibilitiesCommunicate with customers and igus employees by phone, in person or via email, with respect to products and services, orders, status information (including shipping dates and delays), and complaints/issues, in a courteous and professional mannerAccurately and timely enter orders, return authorizations, change notes and other pertinent information into computer, in accordance with company processes and proceduresKeep accurate and timely records of customer orders, conversations, complaints and actions taken, in accordance with company processes and proceduresAnswer incoming phone linesFill in as Switchboard Operator, when requested to do so by supervisorPerform other office, clerical, and administrative duties as assignedRequirementsOutstanding verbal and written communication skills including knowledge of the rules of composition and grammar, the correct structure and content of both written and spoken communications, and the meaning and spelling of wordsBeing at work during regularly scheduled work hours and being on time for each shift are essential functions of the jobSitting at work station throughout shiftProficient in the use of MS OfficeAccuracy and ability to pay attention to detailKnowledge of principles and processes for providing good customer serviceKnowledge of administrative/clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, scanning and general office proceduresAbility and willingness to follow instructions and directionsGood problem solving skillsBeing courteous and professional when communicating with customers and other igus employeesBenefitsCompetitive base salary with ongoing growth opportunitiesComplete benefits package:co. paid HSA medical planco. paid dentalco. paid lifelong term disability insurance3% safe harbor retirement company contribution20 Paid Time Off days per year, plus 9 holidaysSubsidized lunch on-site#INDSJ8:30am-5pm
