Internist needed for Post-Cardiac Surgery Recovery - Private Family care.InternistThe on-site Internist role is based in El Paso, TX. The Internist will act as the Care Manager for a team of skilled nurses responsible for the comprehensive medical care of a patient undergoing in-home recovery and rehab.The Care Manager will work closely with established cardiologists and neurosurgeons, as well as the RN and Physical Therapy care team. The Care Manager will also be responsible for open communication with designated family members.Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, managing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.QualificationsStrong clinical knowledge in internal medicine, including managing chronic and complex conditionsExpertise in diagnosing, patient assessments, and developing evidence-based treatment plansAbility to collaborate with and manage internal healthcare teamsAbility to maintain excellent patient communication and a high level of confidentialityActive medical license in Texas and Board Certification in Internal MedicineCompassionate, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing high-quality patient careSpanish language proficiency a plusWork EnvironmentPrivate, single-family home settingPatient is an elderly male who requires respectful, dignified, and empathetic careFamily members are present and actively involved; professional and courteous interaction with family is essentialNurses are expected to maintain the confidentiality and privacy of the patient at all timesA neat, organized care environment must be maintained
