Licensed Practical Nursing-LPN Full Time Night Shift

Newton Village, a Cassia community, is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)to join our team. This position is part-time with the opportunity to increase hours and transition to full-time for candidates interested in additional shifts.  As a  Licensed Practical Nurse at  Newton , you'll deliver compassionate, high-quality care to residents, administer medications, and work closely with a dedicated team to ensure the best possible outcomes. Position Type: Full-Time  Shifts Available:  Night: 10:00pm to 6:00am   Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities: Display a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff. Administer medications and/or treatment in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response. Manage medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures. Document resident care using computerized medication administration and charting software. Notify Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and take follow-up action as necessary. Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications: Must have a current Iowa LPN license and be in good standing. Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
