As we expand our U.S. operations, we’re seeking an experienced manufacturing leader to drive operational performance, lead the development of new production lines, and strengthen our position as a trusted partner in the automotive industry.Objective / PurposeThe General Manager will oversee all factory operations and ensure the seamless coordination of production, engineering, maintenance, quality, and logistics activities at Konec USA’s Houston facility. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is responsible for achieving operational targets, maintaining world-class manufacturing standards, and building a high-performing, safety-focused production organization.Principal Roles and ResponsibilitiesProvide overall leadership and direction for day-to-day factory operationsManage all production departments, ensuring output, quality, and efficiency targets are metLead the planning, setup, and optimization of new production lines and facility layoutsOversee operational budgets, resource allocation, and process improvementsDrive continuous improvement initiatives in productivity, quality, and cost controlEnsure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO, etc.)Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams to enhance communication and problem-solvingMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular operational reports to the CEO and senior managementAbilities and QualificationsRequiredMinimum 10 years of experience in automotive parts production and production technologyProven track record in factory or production management with strong technical understandingIn-depth knowledge of machining, die casting, or high-volume automotive manufacturingDemonstrated ability to lead multi-department operations and deliver measurable improvementsStrong leadership, communication, and analytical skillsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical disciplinePreferredExperience in factory startup, expansion, or new line constructionBilingual proficiency in English and KoreanPrior experience working with OEM or Tier-1 automotive customersWe are seeking a results-driven and operationally focused leader to oversee all aspects of factory management at Konec USA.
