The State of Wisconsin is looking for a Technical Architect - IIICandidate MUST be a WI resident.Job Description:We are looking for a Container Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experiencedeveloping, deploying, and supporting Docker Containers running Java, NodeJS, and .NET applications.Duties and Responsibilities:Develop Dockerfiles for containers that run Java, Node, and .NET applications.Create deployment pipelines in Azure DevOps that build and deploy containers to Linux hosts.Maintain a repository of templated container images in Nexus Repository Manager.Work closely with developers to understand requirements.Handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team environment.Explain technical concepts to non-technical people.Ability to learn new technologies or off the shelf software quickly.Prioritize tasks and responsibilities.The ability to give and receive constructive feedback.Experience contributing to process improvement and the ability to bring new ideas to the table.Skills: Minimum 4+ years of Docker container experienceMinimum 3+ years of Linux Administration experience (Oracle Linux/RHEL)Docker Container Development: Candidates must have an understanding of the Dockercontainer Runtime, Dockerfiles, Docker Compose, Container Networking, and Troubleshootingcontainers. Linux Administration: Candidates must be able to troubleshoot issues on the underlying OS thatDocker containers are deployed on, including but not limited to network, file mount andresource issues. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOpsMinimum 2+ years of Python scripting/development experience.Understanding of how to troubleshoot common container deployment and runtime issues.Basical troubleshooting of NGINX/Java/Postfix/.NETExperience working on an Agile team.Familiarity with Linux/NGINX/Apache and SSL certificate maintenance.Demonstrated understanding of and keeping up to date with Secure Container/Linuxadministration practices. Ability to prioritize and self-manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience with the use of business applications (email, calendar, spreadsheets, etc.).Excellent communication with clients is a must. The successful candidate will havedemonstrated effective oral and written communication. They are expected to maintain apositive working relationship with agency staff and other groups.
