District Personal Training Manager Location: All Club Facilities Supervises: Assist General Manager in supervising Personal Training Managers Reports to: Director of Fitness Status: Exempt / Full Time Do you have a G.O.A.T. mentality? The District Personal Training Manager is responsible for providing leadership and support to a team of Personal Training managers, Personal Trainers, club management and their clients. You are responsible for overall quality and member satisfaction with regards to personal training. Other responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to sales reporting, sales training, renewal tracking, educating Personal Training Managers, personal trainers and all other team members about personal training. You will participate in the overall leadership of the company as a whole. Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesOversee personal training success at multiple locations at once with club visits throughout the week Drive personal training revenue Develop programming in partnership with various Defined Fitness leadership and member needs Must have a thorough understanding of members' needs and comprehensive knowledge of how to use all exercise equipment In partnership with the General Managers and Personal Training Managers, ensure the department sells personal training packages to members and focuses on customer service and client retention Collaborate with management and in hiring, training and leading of the personal training team Provide ongoing reporting to management on team performance Provide feedback on your team's professionalism, service, clients, and personal training skills as part of that continuous evaluation QualificationsThree years of sales experience and one year of sales management experience, required Five years of experience in an exercise related field, i.e. personal training, and three years of experience in a supervisory/leadership capacity, preferred Bachelor's degree in a health/fitness related field Advanced degree in a health/fitness related field, preferred. A nationally recognized Personal Training Certification must be maintained throughout employment PC literate, including Microsoft Office and various other products Must have a valid CPR/AED certification, including infant and child, within the first 45 days of employment and maintain valid certification throughout employment Self-motivated/competitive, 'driver' personality required Demonstrate ability to be energetic, enthusiastic and motivating Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing Physical RequirementsMust be able to stand for extended periods of time Must be able to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds Must be able to perform the following tasks: walk, squat, bend, stoop, stand, listen, read and write
