Eyecare Assistant/Eyewear Stylist

The successful candidate will be an individual who enjoys working with the public, have a willingness to cross-train in other office duties, and a team player that can also work independently. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth. Prior Optometric/Optical experience preferred but not required for a strong customer service candidate. Must be a self-starter, able to use the computer, and reliable. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Help customers choose appropriate eyewear and lenses. Advise patients how to care for their vision problems and tell them where they can get help if they need it. Discuss a vision problem with a doctor or other professionals. Answer phones as needed. Social Media Content Creations. Assisting with Dry Eye MedSpa duties. Provide pre and post eye examination assistance and follow-ups. Order eyeglasses (frames and/or lenses) and contact lenses for patients. Confirm patient benefits and bill office visit claims.
