This individual will oversee a crew of 4-6 warehouse associates responsible for accurately picking and staging bedding products for next-day delivery operations.This role is critical to ensuring operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, safety compliance, and an exceptional customer delivery experience.ScheduleMonday - Friday - 10:00 PM - 7:00 AMWhat You'll DoLead, supervise, and motivate a team of warehouse associatesEnsure all relay trailers are loaded accurately and safelyOversee timely completion of nightly loading and unloading operationsMaintain high standards for product accuracy and damage preventionEnforce company policies and hold team members accountableEnsure safe and efficient operation of warehouse equipmentOptimize warehouse space and workflow efficienciesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environmentAssist management with quarterly inventory processesTrain, coach, evaluate, and develop associatesCreate schedules and assign workloads appropriatelyEnsure compliance with OSHA and all safety standardsBuild positive working relationships with associates and vendorsIdentify opportunities to improve warehouse procedures and reduce operational costsSupport recruiting, hiring, and onboarding effortsAssist with additional operational duties as neededWhat We're Looking ForPreferred Qualifications:Minimum 1 year of warehouse or distribution experienceMinimum 1 year of supervisory or management experienceStrong leadership and communication skillsExcellent attendance and reliabilityAbility to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environmentAdditional Experience PreferredMaterial Handling Equipment experienceRF Gun and inventory management systems experienceWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookBuild a Career That Moves With YouAt Mattress Warehouse, your work directly supports our mission of improving lives through quality sleep.
