Senior Consultant- Merchandizing and Supply Chain

Job DescriptionInfosys is seeking a Senior Consultant- Merchandizing and Supply Chain. This position’s primary responsibility will be to help clients with strategy definition, value realization, implementation, and operations. The role holder will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 4 years experience with Information Technology.Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.At least 4 years of experience as a business analyst with knowledge of Agile processes as EPIC/Feature/Story creation and grooming, Requirement Elicitation and Design, Test Case Planning and Review.Locations for this position are Hartford CT, Raleigh NC & Richardson TX. This position requires travel and/or relocation to project/client locations.. Preferred QualificationsAt least 2 years of experience in creating requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design /Detailing of ProcessesAt least 2 years of experience in Retail Merchandising (Oracle Retail, JDA/BY, Infor, E2Open, etc.) and/or Distribution and Logistics systems (MA WMOS, High Jump/Koerber,JDA WMS, etc.)Works collaboratively with technical and business team members to develop and maintain business solutions following Provides functional expertise in the areas of architecture, design, implementation, and testingLead a team of engineers and consultants in understanding as-is business and come up with to-be business maps Extensive experience in Business Analysis Skills – Requirements analysis, Elicitation, Agile Methodologies & Business Solution Design (Integrations, Data Mapping, etc.)Experience in creating requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes & capturing requirements related to internal/external consulting, documenting, and mapping current business processExtensive experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deploymentExperience in project management, Retail domain, and preferably Apparel and FashionExperience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel.The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
