Our Memory Care Coordinator is responsible for the overall management of 12 apartments. Assist in maintaining a resident's health and well-being in a home-like safe environment. With our innovative technology and user-friendly interface, we are reshaping the world of payroll!ResponsibilitiesProvide direct resident services and medication management when neededResponsible for the scheduling and supervision of resident care staffCoordinates and monitors the completion of daily assignmentsResponsible for the development of programming that meets the specific needs and abilities of residents residing in Memory CareResponsible for ensuring that personalized Memory Boxes are in place for each residentWorks with Activities Coordinator to provide supervision and support for activities and outingsResponsible for the completion/updating of resident service plans to reflect the specific needs/abilities of each residentDemonstrate ability to manage and respond appropriately to resident behaviorsCommunicate with physicians/other health care providers regarding the resident's health status when appropriateMaintain accurate and complete resident documentationSchedule tests ordered by the physician, assist residents in scheduling medical appointments and transportationDemonstrate competency in all areas of medication administrationMaintain current knowledge of state regulations and community policiesAssist with orientation and education of resident care staffResponsible for the evaluation and discipline of resident care staffMaintain current knowledge of the community's fire safety procedures, including the correct use of the fire alarm systemAble to follow the designated plan of action in the event of a fire or other emergencyConduct/coordinate departmental meetings/trainings sessionsAddress resident/family complaints related to non-clinical issuesDemonstrate courteous, polite and friendly attitude with residents, families, visitors and co-workersRequirementsExperience or training in an equivalent setting preferredMedTech certificationGeneral understanding of and concern for the needs of seniorsAptitude and previous experience with Alzheimer's and memory impaired residentsAbility to work in an environment conducive to caring for residents without posing a substantial. safety or health threat to self or othersAbility to manage team processes and promote a team environmentBenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k)PTO for full time positionsShort- & Long-Term Disability InsuranceLife InsuranceCareer Advancement Opportunities#RNW
