EMI/EMC Engineer
OverviewWe are seeking an experienced EMI/EMC Engineer to support the development and production of advanced EO/IR payload systems. This role will focus on ensuring electromagnetic compatibility across complex electronic systems used in aerospace and defense applications.The engineer will work closely with hardware, RF, and systems teams to design, test, and validate systems to meet EMI/EMC requirements throughout development and production.Key Responsibilities• Support EMI/EMC design efforts for EO/IR payload systems• Identify and mitigate electromagnetic interference issues across electronic subsystems• Develop and implement shielding, grounding, and filtering strategies• Perform EMI/EMC testing and troubleshooting during development and integration• Support compliance with applicable industry and military standards (MIL-STD, DO-160, etc.)• Work with cross functional teams including hardware, RF, and systems engineering• Document testing, analysis, and compliance results• Assist with transition from development to production for multiple payload deliveriesQualifications• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field• Experience with EMI/EMC design, testing, and mitigation techniques• Familiarity with EMI/EMC compliance standards such as MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, or DO-160• Experience working with complex electronic systems or aerospace platforms• Ability to analyze interference issues and implement practical solutions• Experience working in lab environments with RF and test equipment preferredPreferred Experience• Aerospace or defense systems development• EO/IR sensor systems or payload technologies• RF systems, avionics, or embedded hardware environments
