Machine Operator - Day Shift

Located at: 240 Kaskaskia Dr Red Bud, IL, 62278 As a Machine Operator, you are responsible for ensuring your machine produces high-quality products, runs smoothly and at capacity, and is properly maintained. Pay Scale: $16.48–$22.50+ per hour (depending on department and shift) + Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, & life insurance Yearly BONUS (up to 15% of salary) Paid holidays & personal time Climate-controlled building 401(k) w/ company match Great people to work with Overtime opportunities Financial education Referral program Weekends off Profit sharing Responsibilities: Operate machines such as single knife log slitters, splitters, laminators, spoolers, die presses, platen presses and rotary presses Process and package orders according to detailed work order instructions Accurately report production data Assist in process improvements including quality, efficiency, and safety Light maintenance and housekeeping of machine and work area We provide on-the-job training! Requirements: Sufficient reading and writing skills Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 lbs intermittently throughout shift Strong work ethic required Attention to detail necessary High School diploma or equivalent
